What Can I Expect

It's the Matilda Theatre Break! Enjoy a hotel stay in London with tickets to go and see the award-winning Matilda musical. A superb experience for all ages of theatre-goers, with lots of laughter and excitement included.

When Matilda reads books (and she reads a lot of them) they transport her into new worlds. She sits and reads most afternoons, with a hot chocolate beside her, travelling the world while sitting in her little room.

Once enrolled at Crunchem Hall Elementary School, life takes on a whole new perspective for Matilda. She talks to Mrs Phelps, the librarian. Her teacher Miss Honey is supportive and nice. But that headteacher Miss Trunchbull is an evil, child-hating witch!

The show is a triumph. Amazing backdrops, a stage filled with singing, dancing, comedy, drama and plenty of emotional moments too. You will be totally immersed in Matilda's worlds and they're a riot of colours, thanks to the young school child's vivid imagination.

Based on the much-loved book by Roald Dahl and transformed into this breathtaking theatre spectacular by the Royal Shakespeare Company, you will love Matilda. The show has won many, many awards, including several for ‘Best Musical'.
