What Can I Expect

Team karting in Hertfordshire - work together to win the race! Join forces to drive an endurance karting race at Rye House Raceway at Hoddesdon and see if you have the mental strength and concentration for these long-format events!

We are offering vouchers for the Super 90 races and the Endurance races too. You will compete as a pair in the Super 90, whilst the 120-minute Endurance is open to teams of two to five karters.

It's all about tactics for these longer races. When will you turn into the pits to change drivers? Will you be super speedy at driver swaps? Will you all be able to continually lay down decent lap times? Consistency is key when it comes to endurance racing in karts.

You will all be kitted out with a race suit, balaclava and full-face helmet. There will be a driver briefing before the race starts, so you have an idea of the racing line, track etiquette and so on. Listen carefully, as the pro kart instructors might give you some good tips on important things like braking points!

The circuit you'll be racing on is the main GP track. With its smooth tarmac surface, run off points, red and white kerbing and tight corners, it's a great professional-standard track. As an MSA-approved club, Rye House has hosted many kart racing events over the years and a certain Lewis Hamilton started his motorsport career at this very track.
