What Can I Expect

Tesla vs Viper. Electric vs Petrol. This is a modern vs classic-style muscle car shakedown out on the London Circuit in Hertfordshire. Which one is going to win your heart? Drive both out on the track and decide for yourself.

The Tesla Model P90D is the full package. This fully-electric car might look like a family saloon, but alongside the dual electric motors and all wheel traction, there's an onboard secret weapon. Say hello to ‘Ludicrous Mode' (yes, it's really called that!).

Press the button and the preheat ensures the Tesla takes off like a lithium bullet, launching you from 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds. Tesla boffins reckon you can reach 1.1g of force, saying it's ‘faster than falling'. All that power is handy if you're in a drag race against, say, a Dodge Viper...

Oh and would you believe it, that's exactly the car you'll be driving next on this electric vs petrol challenge. This is a fifth (and last) generation Dodge Viper. The whopping 8.0l V10 petrol engine powers the muscle car to a top speed of 206 mph.

You will be driving both of these cars for four or eight laps each of the track. Will the traditional muscle car from Detroit, the birthplace of American motoring, pull at your heart strings, or will the Hollywood star must-have saloon from the Golden State win you over?

  • Age restrictions: minimum 17, maximum 80
  • Height restrictions: minimum 5ft 1ins, maximum 6ft 4ins
  • Weight restrictions: maximum 20 stone
  • A full manual driving licence is required
  • Participants must be physically fit with no serious health conditions

Spectators

  • Friends and family are welcome to come along and can participate in passenger hot laps  or driving laps,  for an additional charge payable on the day

Anything Else

  • Refreshments and snacks are available to purchase onsite
  • Flat soled shoes must be worn
  • Glasses must be worn if needed
  • Drivers will need to sign a form accepting risk and vehicle damage liability of up to £10,000+VAT.  Alternatively damage liability reduction is available to purchase on the day starting from £27
  • Please note rebooking within 14 days of your booking will incur a fee
