What's Included

Carve two weddings from wax
Your kit will be delivered to your home
Choose from a standard kit (up to 150g of wax) or deluxe kit (up to 250g of wax)
The kit contains a file, knife, ring sizer, sandpaper, a pencil and two waxes
A quick start guide is included to give you tips on how to carve the wax
Once you are happy with your wedding rings simply place them in the small tin provided, complete the specification form and send them off in the stamped and addressed envelope
Your wedding rings will be cast into silver and sent back to you once complete
If you wish to have your rings cast in 9ct or 18ct gold quotes can be provided before casting takes place and the fee will be payable direct

What Can I Expect

Wedding ring carving kits - wonderful gifts for the bride and groom! Create a pair of wedding rings for your marriage, renewal of vows or anniversary, for that lovely personalised touch to your special day.

These kits are brilliant. Curated and created by expert jeweller Beth, they contain everything needed to ultimately make two silver rings using a very ancient method. The first step is using jeweller's wax to shape and carve the ring designs you want, based on a classic band or signet ring form.

Your rings can match, or you sculpt one for each other. Using the tools provided, you will literally file and carve into the block of wax to make markings and the shape. It's a lovely thing to do together, or even as a surprise.

Once happy with your carved-wax wedding rings, it's time to send them back to Beth. She'll then work her magic, which basically involves the rings going into casts, being fired in the kiln and the mould having molten silver poured into them.

After breaking the cast, the ring comes out. It's a little dull at first, but with some finishing and polishing by Beth, your bespoke silver wedding rings will be looking shiny and beautiful. They will then be sent back to you.

The moment you open the box containing your rings will be really special. Handcrafted by you with love, these wonderful creations are just for you. Wedding ring carving kits can be sent anywhere in mainland UK, so wherever the lovebirds are in the country, these special at-home kits will reach them!
