What Can I Expect
A great Windsor day out for two! This Windsor Castle package includes entrance to the famous castle and a three-course meal at a local gastropub too.
Windsor Castle is everything you want a Royal castle to be. Set in a stunning location, with beautiful grounds and gardens surrounding lovely cloisters and buildings, it's easy to see why this is one of the Royal Family's favourite castles.
Many Royal events and ceremonies have been held here and it is, of course, the last resting place of Queen Elizabeth II.
You'll explore the castle estate, including the State Apartments, St George's Chapel, Queen Mary's Dolls' House and lots more. There are hundreds of priceless exhibits and artefacts to see from the monarch's treasured collections, reflecting history and tastes throughout the reigns of the Kings and Queens of England.
Just beyond the castle walls, where King’s Road meets Victoria Street, you'll find the Corner House. This Grade II listed traditional public house has been renovated to be a cosy and snug gastropub serving British classic dishes with a wide choice of draught ales.
Your Windsor package includes a three course meal at the Corner House. You’ll have a good selection of starters, mains and desserts to choose from, with everything from pie and mash, to duck liver pate and sticky toffee pudding.
If you fancy a day out in Windsor exploring the castle, followed by a nice meal at a typical British public house, this Windsor package for two is the perfect choice!
